Houston Public Library: Program Proposal Application
Programs are planned and booked at least 6 months in advance; please refer to program application deadlines.
Program Application Deadlines
for programs in June, July, and August
for programs in September, October, and November
for programs in December, January, and February
for programs in March, April, and May
Anyone who provides a program completes a Background Consent Form.
Presenter/performers are encouraged to provide three (3) professional letters of reference.
If payment is required, must submit a
and proof of insurance.
Approval does not guarantee that you will be hired for events, however it clears you to proceed if your application is selected.
All prospective program presenter/performers are asked to complete the following online application. Applications received via email, telephone, mail or in person will not be considered.
Incomplete forms will not be considered.
HPL will send a receipt for submission of the application and an email if the program has been approved.
